On November 19, 2025, the Lotte City Hotel Tashkent Palace in Tashkent hosted the successful Uzbek-Hungarian Business Forum and B2B meetings, attended by representatives of the Hungarian Embassy in Uzbekistan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, and high-ranking Hungarian companies. The forum included a presentation of the Hungarian Industrial Park in Angren and the opening of the HEPA regional office in Uzbekistan.
The aim of the forum was to present new opportunities for cooperation, establish direct business contacts and launch joint projects between Hungarian and Uzbek partners.

In recent years, Hungarian-Uzbek relations have reached a truly strategic level. Hungarian investment in Uzbekistan is constantly growing and diversifying. Hungarian companies are increasingly present in the financial sector, telecommunications and digitalization, agriculture and food, pharmaceuticals and logistics. Today, there are more enterprises and projects with Hungarian participation in the country, which contributes to job creation and technology transfer.

His Excellancy the Ambassador of Hungary in Uzbekistan, József Rózsa mentioned: “In recent years our mutual turnover has shown steady growth. More and more Hungarian companies see Uzbekistan as a key market in Central Asia, while Uzbek partners see Hungary as a reliable gateway to the European Union. We are sure that the real potential of our economic cooperation is much higher than the already achieved indicators”.
In this context, the Hungarian Industrial and Logistics Park at Angren is of particular importance. According to the ambassador, the Park is intended to become a regional platform for hosting Hungarian and Uzbek production companies, for assembly, processing, logistics and export of products both to the market of Uzbekistan and Central Asia, and towards Europe.
József Rózsa also noted that the Angren Industrial Park is considered as an example of mutually beneficial cooperation:
– For Hungarian companies, it provides access to the fast-growing Uzbek market, skilled labor and advantageous geographical position in the country;
– for the Uzbek side – inflow of modern technologies, managerial experience, new jobs and additional export opportunities.
The Ambassador’s Advisor on Foreign Economic Affairs, Márton Kóvacs presented to the participants of the forum the Hungarian industrial and logistics park INPARK Angren, which is one of the priority projects for development of Hungarian-Uzbek economic cooperation.

INPARK is a state-owned, profit-oriented company founded in 2016. In Hungary, it operates in 9 cities with 20 partners and has more than 300,000 m2 of leased storage and industrial space, including logistics centers, production facilities and individually designed manufacturing facilities.
“INPARK provides services of the industrial park on the principle of “one window”. In practice, this means that everything from design and construction to subsequent operation is concentrated in one hand: the company designs and constructs industrial buildings and logistics facilities and then provides their integrated facility management. It takes over all the authorization procedures, coordination with public services and also offers solutions in the field of solar energy – solar panels and energy storage systems, so that investment projects remain competitive and green in the long term”, – explained Márton Kóvacs.

Besides Uzbek entrepreneurs, several Hungarian companies also attended the forum representing different sectors of the economy and production. The opening ceremony of the regional office of the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA) was also held as part of the forum.
This event served as an important platform for establishing direct partnerships between entrepreneurs from the two countries, discussing joint projects, and identifying new business opportunities.
