



BUDAPEST, December 3.
During the visit to Hungary, a delegation from Uzbekistan headed by the President of the Senate Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, Tanzila Narbaeva took part in a bilateral business event.
According to the Upper House of the Parliament, Uzbekistan’s delegation also held a working meeting with Hungarian entrepreneurs and representatives of companies, in which more than 15 organizations participated.
The members of the delegation informed about the large-scale reforms, economic liberalization, industrial modernization, favorable environment for foreign investments and public-private partnership mechanisms being implemented in Uzbekistan. It was also emphasized that the two countries have established cooperation in the areas of trade, economy, investment, education and culture.




Hungarian entrepreneurs expressed great interest in expanding cooperation with Uzbekistan. Opportunities for collaboration were discussed in the field of 4iG digital solutions and telecommunications, water supply and environmental technologies H2O Konzorcium, medical equipment and health care Metrimed, consumer goods FANTASTIGO, logistics Limelog and Woodstock, as well as export and import opportunities.
As part of the event, the opening of the office of the Hungarian agency “HEPA” for cooperation with Uzbekistan was also held. This agency serves the development of trade, economic and investment links between Uzbekistan and Hungary.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to establish bilateral exchange of information, preparation of project proposals and establishment of a permanent dialogue.
